5/30/12 SUNNY WITH A CHANCE OF AWESOMENESS

This morning after dropping Geoff off at the CG base, I headed towards daycare to drop Patrick off at school. In the car I always talk and sing with him. Its a great moment to have some bonding time.
So, while I am driving our conversation goes something like this:
Me: Hey Patrick, do you want to go to school today?
PAC: YEAH!
Me: Okay, good! Hey Patrick, do you want to see Miss Sabrina and Miss Jessie? (His main daycare teachers who I love to pieces!!!)
PAC: YEAH!
Me: okay good! Patrick, do you want to see your friends?
PAC: YEAH!
Me: Hey PAC, who's your best friend?
PAC: (thinks for a moment) uhm.... Middy Moue!!! (Mickey Mouse)

LOL my boy is a riot!!!

So there is still no mention from my boss that she will pay me. Although this morning when I got in the shop she said, "I've got to get some billing done. This is embarrassing."
For both of our sakes I hope she gets the money fast because I need to be paid.

I did my workout tonight!!!!
YAY ME!!!
Tonight was another Turbo Fire 45EZ.... It just dawned on me why this one is such a doozey for me.
  1. because its kinda new (I've only done it a few times)
  2. there are no "breaks" (aka no HIITs)
Either way its intense!!! My body was covered in sweat!
Yay and Eww at the same time
I do feel better now that I worked out. I feel like I am once again in control of my emotions. I hate that reckless feeling...

Breakfast:
1 cup of 1% milk
2 scoops of EAS Lean 15 protein powder (Chocolate Fudge)
1 cup of strawberries
1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter
3 ice cubes
So I figured I would try and add something to my morning shake to help give flavor... the peanut butter was alright...
oh and I was a silly woman, that since being upset yesterday I never filled the ice trays last night, so I only had 3 ice cubes :(
total bummer

Lunch:
peanut butter and jelly on a tortilla
kinda like a pb & j wrap
1 cup of fat free light yogurt

Snack:
1 kashi granola bar

Dinner:
1 chicken thigh with bbq seasoning
notice I said "seasoning" and not "sauce"
mac n cheese
green beans

Snack:
4 chocolate chip cookies

I belong to an amazing BeachBody group, and we have a private group on Facebook
HI TEAM!!!!
Today our task was to post a motivational/inspirational quote.
I couldn't have thought of one better if I made this one up myself... oh wait.... I did!

Today's forecast is SUNNY with a chance of AWESOMENESS! Its gotta be sunny somewhere, and the awesomeness is up to YOU!!

I found my awesomeness for the night folks, and its from a good workout and a 2 year old who stole my heart on April 23, 2010 <3

5/29/12 keeping my negativity at bay

I didn't post yesterday because I was just so mad.
I was supposed to be paid on the 15th but didn't. So now Geoff and I are a bit stuck till the 1st. But now I'm not so sure if I'll be paid for the 1st... either way its a long story and I was on the verge of tears all night. I even went to the mall to get job applications.

So needless to say the only way to make myself happier is to paint my nails. So I did just that.... while Geoff played video games. So the living room was occupied for the night leaving me out of a workout.

I wasn't about to send my extremely negative vibes to you on my blog. So I decided to keep my mouth shut last night and wait till I was in a better mind frame (like today).

Breakfast:
1 cup of 1% milk
2 scoops of EAS Lean 15 protein powder (Chocolate Fudge)
1 cup of strawberries
7 ice cubes
I'll be honest, the strawberries don't really taste all that good like this. I love strawberries don't get me wrong, I just think that their natural sweetness gets lost somewhere.

Lunch:
left over pizza from the other nights dinner
1 kashi granola bar

Dinner:
italian sausage
whole wheat pasta
alfredo sauce

Snack:
1/2 cup of low fat frozen yogurt in Roadrunner Raspberry
I finished the last of it!!! I think I might cry :(

5/28/12 Naptime, I hated you as a kid, but can we be friends again??

I'm feeling rather blah this evening. I think I can pin point it to a few things but I'll be keeping that private.

I started off this morning with Geoff waking me up at 6am to take him to work. Since daycare was closed today I tried to get Patrick to nap with me in the morning. Neither of us are used to being up that early.
But unfortunately the morning ended in him spilling a cup of apple juice all over himself (he doesn't want to drink out of our sippy cups any more), and emptying a bottle of water on himself, jabbing his fingers relentlessly at my computer screen, and trying to press as many buttons as he could on the keyboard, while looking at me like I did something wrong to make Mickey Mouse freeze.
When we picked Geoff up around 9-10 ish since it was holiday routine on the base and no one was there the little monster in the back seat finally went to sleep! Like really kid?? You couldn't have done that earlier when I was trying to?? UGH!

We ended up going to Quiznoes for lunch, and then Geoff wanted to go for a drive and take us to some lake or bay that had a park for Patrick to play in. Well that was crowded and PAC fell asleep again, so Geoff ended up taking us over towards the Tyndall, AFB. There is a small beach by the bay and it has a small jungle gym for Patrick.

When we came home I was able to get some crocheting done :) But somehow turned into a grump. And since then I have been down in the dumps. I think I'll just take it easy tonight and get some extra sleep.

Breakfast:
McDonalds Blueberry Banana Oatmeal
very yummy, and I think I read somewhere that its only 270 calories

Lunch:
Quiznoes
Cob Salad Wrap
Shared with Geoff and PAC my new obsession of the sweet potato kettle cooked chips with sea salt

Snack:
Kashi granola bar banana and chocolate chip (Geoff doesnt like it)

Dinner:
1 chicken thigh with taco seasoning
1/2 of red beans and white rice

Snack
1 cup of low fat frozen yogurt in Roadrunner Raspberry (yup, its been one of those nights for me)

5/25/26/27/12 - My Memorial Day Weekend

Eeeek!!! Its Sunday night and I have no posts from Friday, or Saturday!
I can explain!!!

5/25/12
Friday was a busy day at work. If you didn't know by now, I work at a flower shop. No I don't do any flower arrangements. Instead I do everything else. Clean the shop, answer phones, take orders, fight with the wire services, blow up balloons, write cards, and to deliveries. I was originally hired to manage my boss' books but somehow it ended up just being the two of us in the shop and being short staffed I've become her "slave" as she calls me. I really don't think she treats me like a slave. She is a sweet busy woman, who also happens to be my neighbor.

Anyways, Friday's total milage was 90 mile for deliveries.
90 MILES!!!!! ugh! no wonder I am in so much pain all the time. I feel like I practically LIVE in my car. My TomTom is the only thing who talks to me for the majority of the day.

So when I got home I was exhausted. My back and hips hurt so much that I couldn't do any Turbo Fire workout. Too much jumping and bending would just leave me in a crying ball on the floor. Instead, we (Geoff, Patrick, and myself) took a really nice LONG walk around the neighborhood. There is inclines on the streets so it was great resistance, and pushing the stroller helped too. PLUS I am 13" shorter than Geoff, so to keep up with his brisk walk was almost like a jog. On our way back we ran the last block to the house. I have to admit, this was the first time I have actually ran in... well... MONTHS! And I didn't die!!

Did you hear that?? I DIDN'T DIE!!!! Guess this Turbo Fire is actually working!!
I don't know if any of you know, but my physical goal is to be able to RUN a 5K. I can't do that yet, because of all the extra weight on my body. Its not good for my bad back, hips, and knees. So I need to lose more weight before I can run comfortably. I guess when I lose another 30 lbs I'll start actually running.

So about 3 weeks back, I had purchased a cute little costume bow ring for myself for my birthday at Target. All they had were size 8 for that particular ring. Bummer because the 9's fit me better. But I'm pig headed and bought the 8 anyways. I guess I figured that if I lose more weight my fingers will get thinner too. Well, I've tried it on and off several times and its hard to get on and once its on I feel like its cutting the circulation off my finger. But Friday night for the heck of it, I put it on.... and it fit! Like it didn't hurt when I had it on.

And just when I thought that my good night couldn't get any better, I stepped on the scale.... 200 lbs!!!! I AM OFFICIALLY 30 LBS LIGHTER!!!!!! I'm not sure if its because I cut almost half my hair off my head, but I made it!!! Now I can look forward to 190!

I have no shame in saying my current weight. In fact if you think about it, being 200 lbs compared to being 230 lbs is a big thing! I am more embarrassed over how I let myself get the way that I was/am than sharing my number, because if you were to look at me there is no hiding that I am overweight. Its like an elephant in the room. It doesnt matter how much that elephant weighs, its just a matter of why is it in the room in the first place?? Either way, each day I become closer and closer to being healthier and more physically fit. You cannot constantly look at the past, because you will miss what the present has in front of you and you will miss the glimps of the future.

Breakfast:
1 cup of 1% milk
2 scoops EAS Lean 15 protein powder (Chocolate Fudge)
1 banana
7 ice cubes

Lunch:
1 slice of pizza
1 Kashi granola bar

Dinner:
2 hot dogs (no bun) with ketchup
macaroni and cheese

Snack:
1/2 cup of low fat frozen yogurt (vanilla)
10 oz of orange soda

5/26/12
Saturday was a crazy day. Geoff is still a reservist for the CG, so he was told that he needed new uniforms... or else. So we were dropping our 4 kids off to my in-laws for the day. It was going to be easier to drive to Mobile, Alabama without an antsy 2 year old. And we didn't want to leave our fur babies in their crate all day with no bathroom breaks or love. So they all had fun at Nana and Papa's house. My in-laws have 3 dogs as well, and my two nieces were there! Patrick loves his cousins.

I really tried to do my best while being on the road food wise (I'll list it all below) but its not that easy some times.
I have been having really bad back pain. My sciatic nerve has really been acting up and within 30 minutes of me being in the car I am squirming and cracking my back. I keep meaning to get myself checked but life happens and I don't get it done. So needless to say I was very uncomfortable the whole day. We left my in-laws at 9am, and were in Mobile by 12-12:30. Just in time for Geoff to get his uniforms. Then we found a mall so I can walk around it an stretch. Which was nice, since I needed it. And then we were on our way back home.
I asked if we can take the scenic route home, which we did.... but as hard as I tried not to I fell asleep for about 30 min. Its inevitable, I will always pass out in the car. As we were about 1 hour away from home, we hit major bumper to bumper traffic. It was pretty bad. I think we may have just stuck it out if it weren't for the fact that it was now 8pm and we were hungry and tired. So we back tracked a bit and took a different way home. One that Geoff says is gorgeous in the daylight. So next time we go to the Destin area, we will take this route. Plus, its faster :)

Breakfast:

1 cup of 1% milk
2 scoops EAS Lean 15 protein powder (Chocolate Fudge)
1 banana
7 ice cubes

Snack:
Shared a bag of sweet potato kettle cooked chips with sea salt (yummy!!!)

Lunch:
1 McDonalds double cheese burger (no mustard) - bad I know but we were on a budget and hungry
1 sweet tea
Geoff surprised me with a small chocolate shake :)

Dinner:
We went to McAllisters on HWY 98 in Sandestin I had some type of salad
it had chicken, dried cranberries, almonds, tomatoes, cucumbers, gorgonzola cheese... I think that was it. OMG SOOOOOO YUMMY!!
Sweet tea (1/3)

Snack:
1/2 cup of frozen yogurt Road Track Raspberry (I think thats the name of it.... right now I am too lazy to go into my freezer and look in fear of wanting some)

5/27/12
SUNDAY FUNDAY!!! We all slept in really late today. We didn't get up till 9am!!!! HOLY MOLY!!! I figured that since its a lazy morning I would cook pancakes esp since the last time I made them was for my birthday and it was the first time in a long time that I didn't burn them! Geoff was jealous since he was enroute to Oregon for work and missed out on the breakfast yummyness. After all, I don't think I know of anyone who will turn down pancakes.

Then we went to the beach!!!!! After my constant begging. Geoff wanted to go to the bay, but I wanted the beach. So to make me happy we went to the beach, but the trade off was listening to Geoff complain about the traffic, and tourists. I think it was a fair trade. We went to Saint Andrew's State Park. Parking was insane!!! So PAC and I got out of the car and put on some sunblock while Geoff went parking space hunting. We like Saint Andrews because they have jetties that form a "kiddie pool" as my mother in law calls it. Its great since there are no big waves, and not too deep.
I'm not sure if it was because last time Patrick was at the beach he ended up going face first in the water, with waves going over hid head twice, or the fact that he only had a 30 min nap in the car (maybe a mixture) but the boy who loves the water didn't want to go in the water. Geoff and I both held his hands as we walked and he kept saying "I want down, I want down".... which translates to "I want up". So I picked him up and held him in the water with me and splashed and played and twirled. He seemed to have fun as long as I held him. Geoff tried to get him to swim, and we tried to teach him to kick his arms and legs, but he just kept saying "NO! I want Mommy!!! I want down!!!" So he was back in my arms. I ended up getting a hand print on my shoulder from him holding onto me. Its like a physical handprint on my heart, but only its on my shoulder <3

After not having any Turbo Fire for the past 2 days I needed to get back on the ball. Tonight was Fire 45EZ. I think I have only done this one once before and I think it was by accident! So I was not a happy camper. I was a bit slow on the moves because they were in a different order and some were new all together! I wasn't as discombobulated as my first time ever doing Turbo Fire, but I wasn't as coordinated as if I were to do Fire 55EZ.

Breakfast:
2 pancakes with syrup

Lunch:
1 Publix premade sub turkey and swiss (without the swiss)
1 coke zero

Snack:
frozen yogurt (cake batter and cookies n' cream) with strawberries and white and dark chocolate chips, heath bar and cherries.
I shared this with Patrick

Dinner:
pizza

Snack:
well I made this for the three of us
  • 2 cups of vanilla low fat frozen yogurt
  • 2 1/2 bananas
  • 2 cups of milk
  • lots of ice
  • all in the blender

I thought it was pretty yummy, Geoff says that it needed more sweetener. But there is still some left over that I will have with Patrick tomorrow.

I hope that you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!! Remember its not about the bbq's or the beaches, or concerts, or the start of summer. Its remembering all the lives that risked and gave their lives for us to have our freedom and safety. You may not believe in war, but always believe in our troops!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

5/24/12 - Sometimes you just need a rest

So today was a much better day for me stress wise. Although my bank account isn't straightened out yet but I'm learning to not fret over things I cannot control. Something that I don't do much. Although it doesn't look like we will be able to go on our Destin trip this weekend :( Geoff has to get new CG uniforms so we need to go to the UDC in Mobile, Alabama.

Good news is that Geoff fixed the kitchen sink!!! I can now do the dishes and cook!! We also found a full length mirror at Lowes today that we will pick up when my bank account gets fixed. Then I won't have to wait till I am at work to take my pics and see what I look like :)

Breakfast:
1 cup of 1% milk
2 scoops of EAS Lean 15 protein powder (Chocolate Fudge)
1 banana
7 ice cubes
you guessed it... in the blender = yumm!

Lunch:
Quiznoes Cob Salad Wrap (7/8)
sweet tea

Snack:
Dunkin Doughnuts medium iced raspberry mocha latte
I needed a complete pick me up this afternoon.

Dinner:
Applebees

  • celary sticks with the extra buffalo sauce that fell off the chicken, and lightly dipped in ranch dressing
  • signature sirloin with herb shrimp (under 550 calories and I didn't eat it all)
  • sweet tea

I have not yet had a snack and its quite early!! But I am exhausted from being up by 5:45 today. I'm not sure if I am going to have a snack because I'm feeling quite hungry. Definitely going to bed early tonight which means no workout :( Momma needs her beauty rest

I sat in on a webinar tonight about Beachbody Coaches... I'm thinking about becoming one... idk I'll need more thought on this one, and I am not about to jump into it quite yet.

Now time to relax!!!

5/23/12 - Be Bold... Be Brave...

Today I woke up early... too early for my own liking. Geoff had to be at the Coast Guard base for his reserve drills by 7... so this family had to be out the door by 6:30am (we are currently a 1 car family).
Functioning at 6am with no breakfast or coffee was not something that I like to do. But I did it, and no one died in the process.
Also, Geoff and I woke up to our sink still not drained from last night. Thats right folks our kitchen sink is clogged :( making it impossible to cook or do dishes (we have no dishwasher).

At work it took me almost 3 hours and 70 miles later to do deliveries. We didn't catch it till I was already on the road but one delivery was all the way out in the next county on the beach. As I was on my way there my "feed me light" came on in my car. After being unsuccessful with trying to use my debit card I called Geoff to move money around on his so I can buy gas and a power bar for lunch.
Turns out the money in my account isn't there for reasons that are not my doing. I will just leave it at that.

So I make the hour drive back to the flower shop, trying everything I can to not fall asleep, and very upset about my bank situation.
After I go back to the beach and pick Geoff up at the base, I head to the bank to get answers. I got answers, just not answers I wanted. But I am assured that things will be straightened out tomorrow morning.
By now I am beyond upset. I have daycare to pay, which I can't so now I'll have an additional $10 added to the bill. All I wanted to do was eat, and not eat in the good way. But Geoff was sweet and kind, and took the 3 of us to the mall for pizza, since I was going to cook pizza at home but can't b/c of our sink. And let me get my hair cut!

I've been wanting to get my hair cut for months, years!! But I didn't want to be heavy with a short cut. I just didn't think that it looked good with my body. I've been wanting curly hair for like EVER but my hair is so thick and long that it doesn't hold a curl. I thought about a perm, but that will just kill my hair. And HELLO!!! I live in Florida, I'm pretty sure humidity and curly hair isn't going to go well. So I changed my mind, again and again, and again. And tonight when I went in the hair salon I figured its now or never :)

I got my hair cut to above my shoulders. Its been since like 2000 since I've had it this short!!
And, I got layers!! Lots of them!! My hair has such a natural bounce and wave and body to it now!!! I'm so excited and happy!!! I picked up some curling mousse so that I can "scrunch" my hair which will give me the natural curls that I want :)

I'm so happy!!! Seriously, I feel like a new me!! Its just what I needed!!!

Breakfast:
1 cup of 1% milk
2 scoops of EAS Lean 15 protein powder (Chocolate Fudge)
1 banana
7 ice cubes
put it all in the blender :D

Lunch:
Snickers Marathon Energy Bar - Chewey Chocolatey Peanut (only 210 calories and 13g of protein)
I know what you are thinking, "really Jess, a snickers bar?" But it wasn't like a snickers bar, it actually had that healthy cardboard taste to it. So I didn't feel bad eating it.

Dinner:
Sabbero Pizza (aka mall food)
a side of their baked ziti
3/4 of a slice of cheese pizza
sweet tea

Snack:
1/2 cup of low fat frozen yogurt in Roadrunner Raspberry
turning into my nightly guilty pleasure :)

So my Turbo Fire workout tonight was supposed to be Fire 55EZ. Do not be fooled by the "EZ", because, its not! Anyways, I was going great up till I had about 20 minutes left and I saw a huge bug in the corner of my celling and flipped! Bugaphobia came out. And luckily I have my bug killer, but he didn't kill him kill him... Just sprayed him and left him to die! AHH!!!! No the spawn of Satan must die then and now!!! So that freaked me out too much to continue. Then I realized it was 11pm and I had to be up by 6am again so I figured that as much as I want to continue, I need to get ready for bed.
I'm glad I got "some" workout in, even if it was cut short.

Something is better than nothing.

In the mean time, I am loving my new haircut, and I can't wait to show the world it tomorrow!!

5/22/12 - Now where is my pink cape??

You know that feeling when not only your clothes are fitting better but your underwear does too??
BEST FEELING EVER!!!
HAHAHAHA!!! Thats how I started my morning off :) It totally set the mood for the rest of the day.

Breakfast:
1 cup of 1% milk
2 scoops of EAS Lean 15 protein powder in Chocolate Fudge
1 banana
a hand full of blueberries
7 ice cubes (see I told you I have it down to a science)
all in the blender = YUM!!

Lunch:
peanut butter and jelly sandwich on whole wheat bread
half of Geoff's shrimp egg roll (he wanted me to have a whole one but I said no)
the last lemon cupcake from last night
I felt guilty about eating this :-/

Dinner:
3 soft shell tacos (made from a taco kit)
ground beef, sour cream, taco sauce, lettuce, shredded taco cheese

Snack:
1/2 cup of low fat frozen yogurt in Roadrunner Raspberry (white chocolate frozen yogurt with red raspberry puree and dark chocolate red raspberry mini cups) - to.die.for.yummy.
great thing about this.... its only 120 calories!

So I had my Turbo Fire workout tonight. I had Fire 45 class. Within 15 minutes I was sweating buckets!!! Like seriously the sweat was dripping off my face. Its only a 45 min class. But I pushed myself so hard that by minute 16 I was struggling to keep up.
There were 3 HIIT's (High Intensity Interval Training - you basically do cardio for 1 minute straight as hard as you can and as fast as you can. You're supposed to feel like you have died along the way, thats how I see it) in this workout season.
I also had 2 of my favorite songs!!! The first one I like is almost like a remix version of Trina's "Pull Over". The second one is Salt N Pepper's "Boom I Got Your Boyfriend". These two songs are just so much fun!!
If you like fun and up-beat music then you will love working out with Turbo Fire!

After my workout and when I finally caught my breath and stopped muttering words to Chalene Johnson about being exhausted, I was really tempted to find another snack.
I'm glad that I didn't! Instead I drank the rest of my water, took my well earned shower and brushed my teeth. Theres something about having freshly brushed  teeth that makes me think twice about eating something.

Also, after not working out for a few days, eating a little heavy, I am still at 202.2 lbs. That made me happy! I still have a long way to go, but I have practically lost 30 lbs since I started my journey :)

If thats not motivation idk what is!!
Tomorrow I pinkie promise I'll be better. Theres no more cupcakes in the house (yay) so their evilness won't tempt my addictive sweet tooth.

Feeling like I'll be a Sweet tooth's Super Hero tomorrow

5/21/12 - Repeat "I am not a sissy"

So, I've been working really hard on my fitness and health since the beginning of the new year. Back in January I was counting my calories. It worked for a while, but I started to get really hungry and lapsed back. Starting March, I purchased Turbo Fire. It has been the best investment ever!!! I love it!! And, I'm sticking with it. I think thats the biggest thing for me. Normally after 3 weeks I give up and stop and find something else to do or not do anything at all. Yes there have been times when I have taken a break or two when I have been sick, in pain, life happened, or I'm just too dog-gone tired. But the key thing, is that I don't beat myself up for it. It just makes me want to get back to working out regularly again even more!!

I really could go on and on about Turbo Fire, and I'm pretty sure that I will from now till I find another workout program that keeps me motivated and fit. But I'll get on with this post before I bore you all :)

Breakfast:
2 scoops of EAS Lean 15 protein powder (in Chocolate Fudge) -
side notes:
  • my amazing SIL told me about this, and swears by the Chocolate Fudge flavor. She said the Vanilla one is crap. She is right about the chocolate one, its amazing!!! I haven't tried the other one but I'm going to stick with something that I know and like.
  • if taken with water it is only 100 calories, and 15g of protein
1 cup of 1% milk - Geoff won't drink skim milk, and I still believe PAC needs as close to whole milk as possible so I compromise
about 1 cup of strawberries
about 1 hand full of blueberries
7 ice cubes (I have my ice cubes down to a science to make it the perfect texture for me)

Put it all in the blender and it makes a delicious breakfast!!! I'll have this between 8-9am as I am getting ready for the day and out of the door, so by 12pm I am looking for lunch. Its so filling!!!

Lunch:
Dan D Doughnuts Chicken Salad Sandwich on whole wheat
(Dan D Doughnuts is a doughnut shop here in town that also makes great sandwiches. Its across the street from Geoff's old HS. He loves taking me here for our lunch dates)
1 doughnut (sorry but I can't go to a doughnut store and not have just one)
1 sweet tea

Dinner:
1 Chicken thigh roasted on the stove with seasoning (I've been using more spices to give food flavor rather than using sauces which is just extra unwanted calories)
  • I put the chicken on a pan with about 2 cups of water
  • I season the chicken with whatever spices I feel like, tonight it was McCormick's Grill Mates 25% less sodium in Montreal Chicken
  • About 10-15 min later I flip sides and add more seasoning
  • I keep flipping sides from here on out and do not add any more spices since now the water has a lot of it as well as the juices from the chicken.
  • I keep putting in more water 1 cup at a time till as the chicken is cooking (its an estimated process based on how I feel that night, no science or rules at all for it)

1/3 cup of canned peas
1/3 cup of some pasta thing... haha! it was basically like a ravioli of sun dried tomatoes and basle, stuffed with cheese and mushrooms. (it was really good, PAC loved it, but Geoff and I agreed that it would have tasted better with an alfredo sauce)

Snack:
1 lemon cupcake to celebrate Geoff's home coming, and him tasting my improved cooking since he has been gone
  • I have to say I picked these up at Walmart tonight when we went food shopping and they were amazing!

My workout tonight was doing my Turbo Fire Core 20 class.
My core is very weak right now. When I was younger I had a stomach like a rock! When I graduated USCG Basic Training I had a 2 pack of abs!!! But due to neglect on my behalf and having a baby my core has turned to mush. :(
So there are many time when doing core workouts with Turbo Fire that the upper part of my abs cramp up sending me flipping to my stomach to stretch it out all the while screaming "ouch ouch ouch ouch!"
I swear I'm not a sissy
But tonight I was careful. I didn't get to do as many as the DVD was doing, but I did some. And I guess that counts for something right??

As I am sitting here my inner sweet tooth is saying to me "eat eat eat eat!!!"
But my will power to lose this weight is stronger than that so I'll chug my bottle of water instead :)
After I fold the clothes with the hubby, I'll take a nice shower, smelling of Bath and Body Works "Sea Island Cotton".
mmmmmmm yum!!!

Till then, remember, if something is hard, its hard for a reason. As long as you never give up, you my friend are NOT a sissy!!
